Owner-Operators of independent espresso shops are often limited in the choices they have for retail goods. One way to differentiate your products is to design your own, but how can you produce products effectively at single-store volumes?

A Shiftless Baristo suggestion

Check out an online vendor I found which permits low volume retailers to design, manufacture and even sell their own, unique or branded merchandise.

Even better, if you sell through their mechanisms you don't even need to carry the inventory yourself.

Although the number of products that they carry is limited, it includes key espresso shop or small-retail store items such as T-shirts, coffee cups and travel mugs - and since any of them are customizable with your designs or artwork, they may as well be yours.

Here's the link:

If you give them a try, let me know how it works for you. I haven't tried getting inventory made that way.

Good luck!
